Using Dumpster Rentals For Remodel Jobs

Dealing With The Trash At Your Commercial Property

Getting the trash hauled away from your commercial business or rental property is important for a few reasons. Trash that is sitting in cans or outside can attract animals, rats, and bugs to the area and looks unsightly too. If you have a large amount of trash to deal with, you need to look at solutions that can remove the trash quickly, efficiently, and regularly. One solution might be to rent a dumpster and have it placed on site.

Renting A Dumpster For Your Business

You can rent a dumpster and have it placed outside your business so you and your employees have a place to put the trash every day. The rental typically includes trash removal or emptying the dumpster on a set schedule that you and the trash removal company set together. If you want the dumpster emptied more often than they offer normally, you can typically request that but they will often charge a fee for emptying the dumpster early. In some cases, they may set the price and empty it daily or every other day but you will need to talk with the company to determine that time frame for removal.

Rental Properties

If you own a duplex, apartment building, or other rental property, providing a place for the tenants to put their trash is one way to keep the outside of the property looking good. This gives people a place to put the trash that is not near the building or in an area that may not look good for potential renters or people driving by. You can fence the dumpster so it is not seen at all but make sure to have it emptied a lot so people don't take the trash out only to find the dumpster full. If you do provide a dumpster for tenants, be sure to give them a written list of rules about its use and what can go into it. Some companies will fine the owner for things that are placed in the dumpster when they should not have been put there.

Dumpsters For Alternative Uses

Sometimes you need a dumpster for something other than trash. Yard waste, construction debris, or roofing material are all good examples of alternative materials that you might need to dispose of. In these situations, you can rent a dumpster for the material and have it placed on site and then call the company to come and empty it when it is full. Most of the time, these dumpsters are either a one time use and emptied when they are picked up, or they are used for short periods of time and scheduling a time to empty them is not practical. But talk to the company about what they do or what you would like done.

About Me

Using Dumpster Rentals For Remodel Jobs

Hey everyone, my name is Dennis Tillman. When I help friends and family with their remodel projects, I always suggest renting a dumpster for the waste. A dumpster rental makes it easy to dispose of solid waste removed from the home. You can throw in building supplies, like drywall, flooring and lumber, without worry about nails or screws. In fact, the dumpster company encourages metal hardware disposal in the bins. There are a few items that you cannot toss inside the dumpster, however, including light bulbs, paint and stain. I will share the dos and don'ts of using dumpster rentals for your projects. I will also discuss ways to determine the right dumpster size and drop off location. Thank you.
